Simplifying the move from BlackBerry to Multi-OS
BlackBerry devices once dominated business mobility. Enterprise IT liked the solution for its advanced functionality and the ability to control an end-to-end platform. However, the role of smartphones in the enterprise is evolving from one focused on email, where end-users leverage their device to maintain communication with the business, to core computing, where end-users utilize their device for applications that help them get their job done. Furthermore, end-users are often demanding choice in device in order to more seamlessly blend work and personal life and be more productive overall. This trend is often referred to as “BYOD.” However, whether the device is personally-owned or corporate-owned, enterprises find themselves having to support more than one platform in order to meet end-user satisfaction. The era of one-size-fits all mobility is a thing of the past.
